ABOUT

Dr. Jordan Weeda, DC grew up on a hobby farm outside of Wahpeton, ND. His wife, Heidi is a native of Esko, MN. They met at a church convention in 2002 and were married the following year. They moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2005 so Dr. Weeda could pursue a great chiropractic education at Life Chiropractic College West. It was there that he learned about Upper Cervical Care and developed a passion for this specialty. He also got training in a wide variety of other supportive chiropractic techniques during his education at Lifewest.

After completing his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Jordan and Heidi settled in Southern Oregon, in the community of Ashland to begin practice. They built a successful busy practice that served patients from a 150-mile radius. After their 4th child was born in 2017, they decided to move home to the Northland to be closer to family and enjoy living in this beautiful place. Wellspring Centre for Body Balance continues to serve Southern Oregon.

After moving back to the Twin Ports area at the very beginning of 2019, the Weeda’s bought 80 acres of beautiful land northwest of Duluth and began that spring to build their dream home there themselves with the help of family and friends.
After a 2-year sabbatical, working exclusively on the construction of their home, Dr. Weeda became licensed as a chiropractor in Minnesota and began serving patients from a room in their home. As more of the construction projects were completed, Dr. Weeda’s practice became busier—growing exclusively by word of mouth. He was able to finish out a room with an outside entrance from a sunny deck just off the driveway. He enjoys this simple form of practice, in a beautiful rural setting, without the busy hustle of a clinic, and his children playing in the nearby room.

Also in 2021, following a many years dream, Dr. Weeda enrolled in the Options for Animals Animal Chiropractic certification program and completed the 6 month 210+ hour program and became additionally certified by the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association. During chiropractic school, Dr. Weeda was inspired when he heard Dr. Jay Komarek speak, and later when in Southern Oregon, learn more about Equine Chiropractic when his friend and colleague produced the film Life Adjusted. Dr. Weeda, brings his many years of experience working with humans and the universal principles of Chiropractic to the practice of Animal Chiropractic. His focus is primarily on Equine, but he enjoys working with dogs as well.
